What should I use to transport my Guinea pigs 2?
I will soon have 2 female Guinea pigs baby. It is a 1 hour and 30 minutes and I'll have the cage ready for them when they return home. I do not really want to spend money a pet carrier (carry cage), because I will not take them anywhere. I was wondering if a big box would be good for this long trip or not, I'm really stuck please help me! ps I do not want to be uncomfortable so please give me an answer! hope you can help!
Well since you will need to take your Guinea pig to the vet once a year, then it would not hurt to make a cage for them just in case there is an emergency and you need to get there quickly and safely. You never know when something will happen and you need something else loan of a box. Moreover, they love to chew and a cardboard something they enjoy. So if it is pee drenching and end up going straight. Out of my own opinion, I think that the purchase of a carrier is better than anything else.
